It's been a very long week, weeks i should say.
Did a oil change as it was due. Then i found a broken tie rod end boot with a huge hole in it. Tried to get it out but it refused to budge, then heat and hammered the crap out of it untill i flowered some of the threads, then heat and penetrant... Then i waited a week or so to get my hand on a ball puller. Didn't budge either but it broke the tool so instead of driving to a garage i got mad as hell and started to get everything out untill i got the knuckle out to hit the tie rod end with a 2kg hammer and in case that wasn't enough i had nearby a 5 kg one, just in case. Worst case scenario new old used knuckle but i got lucky. What i also found was a hole at the inner cv joint boot, luckly i still had one of the old shafts so i just replaced the whole shaft as it was on the right side and i didn't have to drain the gearbox oil. All in all i am still mad because trw tie rod ends barely lasted 2 years. This time i replaced them with meyle outer rods and meyle hd inner ones. I just hope it will last more than 2 years. Also fixed the armrest that a plastic piece broken.
