Damn! it is confusing... I think yeah they are not well worded. THe last one I'd say it's amongst tho.
Back in the day I'd use this channel (https://youtu.be/klno6ADtLCM) when I was preparing for the IELTS. This lessons is particularly discussing when to use "between" vs "Among". Hope it helps your students!

Also I'm a foreigner myself, yet I know the difference between English and US English, and that is the reason why people get so confused. And with him being an English teacher he should know the difference. I did notice the lack of interpunction in some of the examples put up. IMO he is better of finding an online course in English, or find a proper English language forum to get his English language questions answered right...
FYI there is a huge difference between English and English US, I could go on about this but as I said before, it's a car forum and although this is non car related and in the right topic this isn't the right forum for questions like this, especially since he takes whatever answer he gets and takes it as gospel and than teaches the wrong stuff to his students, because we have picked up bad habits? I'd say he needs to find another place for these questions.

My friend who works as a teaching assistant says that among is better in there.
