Just copy the files across to the new iTunes library and then authorise that computer to your Audible Account (Advance menu).

If you're no longer going to use your old PC for it, remember to de-authorise it.

You need the iTunes folder from your 'MUSIC' folder which is inside My Documents.

Copy the whole folder to a memory stick or whatever.

Place the whole folder back on the new machine, My Documents > Music

Then open up iTunes, as soon as you've clicked it press and hold shift, then the box comes up as attached.

Click Choose Library and go into My Documents > Music > Itunes and you should see an Itunes Library file which you can click on.

If when you try to copy over as above and iTunes folder is already on the new computer (because you've opened it), delete it before copying the one from your old machine.

As discussed, de-authorise your old machine and authorise your new. Then you are good to go.

Will my PC still be autherised if i wipe it for a reboot...

And i've always kept itunes library and then CD's ripped to media player library so everything is doubled on my hard drive to easily be moved about... space is getting low so only planing to keep the itunes library and delete the rest...

Anyone think i should still keep both or is it that simple switching itunes, dont want to delete everything and be left with nothing

Yes, if you just blank the hard disk, your old installation of iTunes will remain authorised. You need to unauthorise it from within iTunes before you uninstall itunes or wipe your hard disk.

You have a limit of 5 machines that can be authorised. Don't know what happens after you hit this limit and its all been from wiped machines. I guess you'd have to contact Apple support or something.

It's all here, if you reach 5 authorisations you have to remove all to start again and you can do this once a year
