I think it would be too much to remove the turbo badge, think it would look too plain.

how did you find getting the griffin off? I want to do this to my vectra, have taken "Vectra" & "1.9 CDTi" off but scared in case I damage paint work taking griffin off.

I think I actually agree with you, I like it with the turbo still on.

I think I actually agree with you, I like it with the turbo still on.

I was a bit worried too so I used a jug of hot water on it then hairdryer on medium, took a few minutes of easing the card under but it came off fine, left all the glue on the car but just a bit of super resin polish and it all buffed off straight away. If you drag your nail over it you might be able to feel it ever so slightly but I wasn't sure if that was my imagination.

All I can say is you'll do more damage to the card you use so make sure it's an expired one ;p mine is now bent in half from the heating!

I'm more of a fan of doing it the otherw ay round, that way no-one knows I have a V6 Turbo under the bonnet and challenges me to silly races...

I think it looks good with the turbo still on. Then if you did decide to take it off in the future you can but it would be trickier trying to pop it back on
