Annoying rattle

07 5-door hatchback 1.9CDTi

Everything is ace, spot on, 30,000 miles feels like new still - but....


There is a really annoying rattle from the rear. Sounds like near the headlining at the back but I can't see anything. The boot is empty, spare wheel is tight as are the tools. It's when I go over a slight bump and it's doing my head in.

Any one any ideas? Anything similar?

That or the rear boot release catch thingymajig! OH, and another thing to check which I had on my old car, the rear centre armresat, the flap behind it. Thats was causing me no end of headaches when I had my car!

Thanks, I can pull the parcel shelf out and try that. That's a nice and easy one, will look at the armrest bit too.

What's the "rear boot release catch thingymajig"

Its where the book locks to the car, I also had a rattle from this on my old car and needed to adjust it.
