wing mirror

my passenger side wing mirror has a wobble on it of about 3/4 of an inch , is there anyway of tightening it up ? ie is there a grub screw inside or anything ?? the wobble is side to side movement and not up and down .
seems to be 1 thing after another lately thx in advance

are you talking about where it meets the car (the triangular part) or you talking about the action mirror moving on the point where you can push it in?

the wing mirror is attached to the car fine its when its sat in its normal position , its not solid as it should be i can fold it in but when i sit it back out it should pop into place and have a nice solid fit but it just wobbles a lot .

I've just changed my driver's side mirror due to a minor collision. There's nothing inside the mirror I can see that you could adjust/tighten. I think you'd have to buy a new mirror (the structure part) and transfer your motor, glass etc over.
