    Question VXR Grille, bit confused...

If I read this right in order to fit a colour coded VXR front grille to my cdti I need 3 parts...

    The Grille....
    http://marehay.vxrshop.co.uk/index.p...roducts_id=366

    AND The Grille Moulding
    http://marehay.vxrshop.co.uk/index.p...roducts_id=364

    And the badge
    http://marehay.vxrshop.co.uk/index.p...roducts_id=381

(and then need to paint it). So the total cost of parts is around 130 plus about 30 I guess to paint it?

Thx to anyone that can clear this up for me!

Aren't there some facelift/prefacelift issues here?

He's got an 08 Elite... needs to update his avater I think.

Why not just use your existing V-Grille and badge??

Yeah, it's a facelift (haven't had a chance to get a pic of the new one CLEAN yet!)

When the car was being delivered to me the existing grille got broken (they drove into the back of a TVR!), so I figured I might as well replace it with the VXR one as I like the colour coded bit so much. I'll take a look at the existing one and see if the broken & scratched bits can be easily fixed / masked.

The reason I'm confused is that I thought I saw a VXR V Grille on here for around 50 notes and I couldn't figure out what use it would be if you didn't have the grille to go with it - are they interchangable?

tbh I've not taken a close look at mine yet, i only know the pre-facelift well.

Just found your pics mate... looks awesome and I can see how the V comes off now. I've checked the car and the bumper needs a respray and I need a new griffin for the grille but the rest of it looks to have survived the bump. Perfect!
