Snow woes....

Had acall from my wife "stuck on a hill in the snow", se said she was there for 20 mins with people behind her, and not one got out to help????
By the time I got there with my shovel, another man in a van at a nearby junction also got out with a shovel and we both cleared a lot of snow and ice, and then I got the car moving, went sideways many a time, very scary, but got there in the end.
I dont know about you, but if someone was stuck in front of me for more than a couple of minutes, I would get out and help, whats the point of sitting behind a stuck car????
Dont understand it myself....

Yep, I actually drove someones car up a snowy hill the other night, it was nice to help and have a decent thanking.

Not many care nowadays...

nope i had the same problem a few weeks ago when the snow caught the coucil offf guard and they hadnt gritted the major roads so car were getting stuck so i got and helped a few people and the got called because one guy was struggling with is bmw so i stopped and not one other person gave help.

I have to say I probably wouldn't one being I'd be the one stuck and two I'm a woman and never know what I might come across in the dark. I hate it and feel so bad not stopping but I could be risking my life in some cases.

everyone seems to help everyone else round here, i've been stuck a few times and every time someone gets out to help, i've lost count of the amount of peolpe i have pushed and dug out..

I must admit most people wouldnt stop but it depends on circumstances. I came across a Mercedes stuck yesterday. I wouldve stopped and gave a push but i was late for a job interview as it was. Dont get me wrong i felt bad but i just couldnt spare 10 mins to stop.
