Vectra C Headlight bub Upgrade

Hi There

I wonder if anybody can help me as i want to upgrade the bulbs to get a brighter view of where i'm driving.

Does anybody have any recommendations on bulbs?

Also are mine just H7 bulbs? 07 plate Vectra c SRI 1.8?

either osram night breakers or the phillips ones but the best option is to get hids. i think they are h7 for dipped but might be wrong as i have a prefacelift

Dipped = H7
Main = H1

for the facelift.

Osram NB's don't last very long. 8 months for me, and others have mentioned they have a short life too.

HID is the way to go.

Big Daves is correct! on the facelift main beam is H1 and dipped are H7 The Insignia is the same.

On that I am certain.. I bought enough of them.

Earlier models were both H7

Thanks for the information, think I will change the bulbs first and then look into HID later.

A set will cost about £46 all in for a HiD kit, and cancellers, see this thread..... http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99405 post 8 has the links. A decent set of Halogens will cost upto £30 so its a no brainer for these.

Edit: Obviously not, dan beat me to it, last time i was looking i could only find them for 60
