    Default Lights dimming

    when i turn the steering wheel the lights dim quite abit i have replaced the battery a few weeks ago it does it even if the lights are off you can see it on the radio display any ideas ?

    its common, they all do it. but i did notice it stopped when i fitted hids

    Electric power steering = big power drain.

    it seems to dull quite alot i have never noticed as bad as this before

    Its cold, the heater is probably on, rear window, heated seats etc.... it all adds up.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    It is normal and due to the large electrical consumption of the EHPAS

    That or your battery is getting worn out...beginning to lose a cell etc...

    I know you say you bought a new one, but new items can fail.
    Also did you fit the terminal clamps securely etc.?
