I've got hold of a CD30 MP3 at last!

It worked for all of two minutes and then the above baffling message appeared on the screen. I have the code, but is there any way round entering it or must it be Tech2'd? The manual you get with the CD30 MP3 is pretty much useless for telling me how to get round this.

The radio will still play, but the date is no longer displayed, or the radio station.

Nope will need tech2 if you got the security code with the unit you should be able to ask vauxhall to de pair it then marrie it to you GID using your security code

(sigh)more money for the stealers... At least I hope it's not too pricey. A mate has Tech2, do you reckon he could do it? Just I don't want to pay £55 for diags again, especially when I know what it is.

Well, yeah, it's the Snap-on version. Does that make a difference, or does it need the genuine Vauxhall Tech2?

Snap On will be a "generic" OBD II scanner / diagnostic tool.

Tech 2 is Vauxhall's own device which can do the specific programming that you require!

You will need Tech 2!!
