drivers door switches

hi all again - another question....

my 07 veccy has mirror/window and lock/unlock button in drivers door - my question is can i change this to the older set with the boot release and if so is this plug and play or another tech2 jobby?

No, the buttons are just covers for the switches underneath, and the switches do the same job as before. I broke my switch with the boot release and replaced it for your type.

well in that case can i make my button open the boot instead of having 2 open \ lock buttons

From what i'm aware the door had different control module (ECU's) and there not interchangeable. I have boot open buttons on both door switches and an actual key lock on the boot. I believe you dont have any of them.

any other bits i can swap to add features to my car that people know of??

I'm sure i remember Lofty sorting this out on his facelift,he either added a wire or moved some around to get it work,drop him a pm..........
