    Default how to remove glowplugs

    gonna change my glowplugs tomorrow is the how2 for the 1.9 the same way as the 2.0dti?

    I would remove when engine is hot and soak them with wd40 or something before you do it as you dont want to snap one

    so go for a run in the car and then soak them with wd40? (with leads off )

    are they in the same place as the 1.9 how 2?

    They are at the back of engine think they are clipped on so you have to be careful unclipping them from plug

    cheers i would of thought going for a run to heat them up would make them tighter due to the heat so they would be hard to get out?

    Not sure buddy thought i read a thread saying its best to take them out when engine's hot i need to do mine but i can get mine done at Vx for about £100 and if they snap one then they will have to fix

    just had ago at trying to remove the plugs i couldnt even get the leads off them, how do you get them off??

    Think you squeeze the bottom of the clip in together and pull off gently

    just fitted all 4 who ever said use a screwdriver to get them off ****** hell you will snap somat, i found out if you just pinch the top clips in and pull up they come off, thnaks BIGMAC


    since disconnetimng battery ive noticed the deadlock wont work does it have to be programmed??

    Why use WD40? Why not use a penetrating oil such as Plus Gas?

    WD40 is a Water Dispersant - a very good one - but it is NOT a penetrating oil
