I am against these quickshift things. I drove an astra with one and all it was was a shorter stick, annoying and quite stiff to engage gears.
Thats just my opinion though.
think thats only for the vectra b cause i did it on my old one and didn't notice a difference
i used to have one on my mini (proper quickshift), worst thing i bought! Thats just a different lever, doubt it would do much.
Mine actually worked a treat on my Vec B, made the shift feel much tighter. Wouldn't work on the Vec C though, totally different linkage.
Had a proper B&M quickshifter on my scooby, worth every penny....
That..... Not sure.
Probably cut down and bodged up in a garden shed. On a proper quick-shift the modification is done below the pivot point on the gear shifter, making the throw and gate appear to be a lot less.
It's a standard Astra gearstick, the same as most Vectra B sticks, just an inch shorter... No bodging, just a shorter part.
[dreaming mode] Would love to have F1 gearshift (steering wheel shifters) for my autobox [/dreaming mode]
I had one of these in my vec b, made a great difference tbh. They where the in mod on another forum back then lol
