removing indicator stalk.

yesterday i attempted to remove my indicator stalk..... i had bought some electrical component cleaner, and was hoping to get the cruise contol running by giving the end a clean.....

anyway, i cant seem to get it out.... i have pulled it, but didnt want to do it too hard and break it, and i have followed the "how 2" and tryed shoving a paperclip down the groove.... no joy!

anyone have any ideas how to get this off?

give it a good pull and it will come out.
be firm with it or thier is a how2
on the stalk thiers a groove push a paper clip down the groove and pull

You have to REALLY pull, and when it comes out you think its broke lol, but its not

I've just had my indicator stalk out to replace with one with cruise on, there were NO electrical contacts on the original. On the new one there are but I believe this is for the cruise buttons.

On the other side it had electrical contacts but I put this down to the intermittent switch.

As above, be brave pull straight out.

get a 1.5mm allen key or somthing as like that. look down the length of the stalk towards the centre of the wheel as it were.

u should see a small hole on the drivers side or the dash side i cant remeber but its obvious.

stick the allen key in the hole and pull the stalk with your other hand ....will come out easy as pie.
