Default Baffling - replacement CD/Radios with aux in?

Hi all! I'm quite new to the vectra community. I have a very sensible 1.8 petrol 2007 Vectra Estate - boring I know, but I'm a musician and it's perfect for gear! LOVE those fold down seats.

So I listen to a great deal of music, and hate using FM transmitters for my ipod, so have actually gone back to using CDs!

However, I really would love to use my ipod properly with the car, ideally with an upgraded head unit. I'm not too fussed about new speakers and whatnot.
So basically I need an aux in or ipod in (either is fine).

Are there ANY aftermarket units that just fit in without any fuss? I'm really struggling - unfortunately when I'm relatively ignorant about car audio the selection is astounding. Any tips for decent systems? I'll probably have it fitted by someone who knows what they're doing.

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards

    Mike

PS Would a hardwired FM transmitter or a "parrot" be a good option? No-one at Halfords seems to have a clue....!

actually the Denison Icelink is possible its a FM-transmitter, but it connects to the arial at the radio direct, so no look.

Or actually the Parrot MKI9200 could also do it.

As ken said, I've fitted a Parrot MKi9000 to my car (no display) and use the bluetooth function on it to listen to the songs off my phone, quality is pretty damn good, it also comes with a ipod connector, usb connector for memory sticks and also a 3.5mm jack plug for things like a walkman etc etc. Costs approx £100 delivered for the one without the screen
