Hi
If I change the sensor because of a fault, Will the fault light go out on it`s own or will I need to get it turned off?
Thanks

I think you'll have to get the ECU reset, most cars require this once a fault has been detected. Some you can simply disconnect the battery over night, others require more complex procedures.
It's probably not relavent, but a fault normally has to be detected 3-5 times within a time frame for the ECU to register it as genuine fault, you'd be suprised how many false calls an ECU can pick up during its life.
Your lambda could have been intermittently faulty months before the ECU detected it.
