Default chrome door and mirror covers.

Hello peeps.Wondered if anyone can advise me on this.Have purchased of off fleabay, chrome door handle covers, and chrome mirror covers, both from same company. Can any one tell me what, and how easy they are to fit?The advert says that they can easy be removed if you sell the car,and that they leave no damage to mirrors or handles.Has anyone on here purchased any of these?I read on a thread somewhere that someone new of someone on here who had bought some and that they were of good quality. The mirror covers were £49.99 and the door handle covers were£19.99,just a bit cheaper than the irmscher ones i have been considering.Steve.

Cheers Mark dont know if i can help a lot as the mirror and handle covers i put on the "Vectaru" are irmscher ones the mirror covers can certainly be changed back if you sell the car as they are replacement casings but the door handel covers stick on with double sided tape you might be able to get them off with a bit of heat but damage to the handles could be very likely (especially if they are painted) HTH!!!!!

By the way i put copy mirror covers on Mrs D's astra and they stuck on top of the original mirror casings and you could not take them off with out breaking them !!!!!

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

Yes and many more.....buy her what she is asking for, then spend ten times the amount on yourself, but don,t tell her the cost, though.

Don't know about the door handle covers, but a 'tip' for fitting the mirror covers. You've got to remove the mirror glass to be able to remove the covers (without breaking them). Slide a plastic wedge behind the glass and prise the glass out, then you'll have access to the lugs to prise them open and get the covers off. If you just try and pull he covers off from the outside you'll break the lugs and won't be able to refit them.
