    Cool Angel Eye Conversion

Now my car seems to be behaving itself, I thought I'd try something a little different. I saw an 'Angel Eye' kit for the Vec on eBay, and have bought it! It arrived today.

Any probs fitting new headlights? I know I'll have to transfer over the bulbs from the existing unit (I imagine just the indicator and main bulbs)

Anyone else got Angel Eyes on their Vec, if so, any pix?

I'll post pix when my one's done tomorrow (providing I don't write the car off in the ice on the way to the garage )

They look smashing! Did u have to make any mods or do the units fit straight on?
Reason I'm asking is b'cos my mechanic told me that Vecs have self levelling lights. I can't wait till tomorrow!

Bet u had tons of snow in Woking, how's it now, is the A3 still a mess? I was going to see a friend in Guildford at the weekend, but have no intention of having to abandon the Vec in a snowdrift and walk the rest with my 10 month old

    ur car looks great, BTW

I wish they were SRI, they are just bog-standard lights, they're not tinted or anything. I can hold onto them for you, and they're yours for £180

The guy who's fitting them might take some parts out to put into the new ones, like the mechanism to allow you to tilt/dip the beam. I'm sure eBay or a local breakers have tons of SRI lights if you're after some

I'm sure they would be! I'm after SRI black ones mate and to be honest you'll be lucky to get that for them. I'm sure you're angel eyes will look good though.

lukesignum, google '2xcite Ipswich', or search for 'Angel Eyes Vectra C' on eBay. They do both a chrome and a black set, and about £13 for next day 24 hour delivery.
