    Default Changing time on clock without standard sterio in

    Can you change the time on the display with out the standard sterio in?
    i have just got car back from vauxhall and they had had battery off so its reset.

    i always had to quickly retrofit mine in to redo the clock

    does it not set itself via RDS or is that only with standard HU in?

    If you have steering control lead and full canbus you can do it via steering controls...HTH

    if you have a non standard head unit and are on full canbus you will need to put the original head unit in to change the time i know it's a pain but if you really want the clock showing the correct time thats the way to go
    on some of the pre facelift halfcanbus units you could change the time by the stalk

    Not completely true...

    I can do mine by steering controls with JVC headunit, full Canbus and steering control lead...

    Hi, is that the clock option in the JVC menu, I have just fitted a JVC head unit and noticed a clock setting but asumed it was for the radio not the car?

    guess ill have a play this weekend putting old sterio in to change the time! good job thers plenty of room when the glove box is taken out for the wires! i put the dvd player in so that it wont come back out!

    Clock option on HU is only for HU and not centre screen...HTH
