A fund raising event that has run for the past three years is THE BIG CURRY.
I must admit, that until reading about this over Christmas, I had not heard of
this at all. The event runs throughout April as a series of events in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund.

The idea is quite simple, all you do is go for a curry where ever you want, at home, in a restuarant or where ever, all that is asked is that those attending pay £1.00 per head as a donation. That's it plain (unlike the curry) and simple.

So as one who is always up for a korma, vindaloo, keema nan and the odd bottle of cobra is this an idea that the region reps can grab and organise a night out as regional meets and raise a few quid for a good cause at the same time.
