    Default rubbing noise/droning ?

Replaced 2 tyres today cheers Glen put them on the back
All though the droning noise isnt as bad as what it was it seems i have either a rubbing noise or droning from the front but un like most this gets louder when i slow down so not sure if its bearings.
Its a bit hard to tell you's what the noise is but as i slow down it seems to slow the noise down until i stop,it does it whether i dip clutch or slow down without touching brakes,at first i thought it was something to do with maybe my brakes but even without touching them and just easing off throttle to slow down it still does it ,and same if i stomp hard on brakes
    it sounds like this

    ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRStop

    Dont laugh lol

Any idea's didn't do it before i changed wheel's could it be the droning from the fronts i haven't changed ? just a bit weird how its more noticeable at lower speeds

Don, it must be the tyres mate if it was the wheel bearings the noise would be worse as you turn and more of a arharharharh rahter than ererererere lol Change the backs to the front and fronts to the back also check that they are not directional tyres and been put on the wrong wheel and are therefore running backwards.

1st thing i checked was directional think best bet is to change fronts over to my sri wheels then take it for a spin hopefully noise will go so i can rule out bearing or even gearbox

Don its not a build up of surface corrosion on the discs??

with all of the salt and moisture at the moment they will start to corrode in hours rather than days and then your not using the full efficiency of the brakes owing to the icy snowy conditions so the inner surfaces are probably scabbed and could be the pad just rubbing on the inner surface of the disc - jack up the front and spin each wheel - see if you can hear the noise that way and if the wheel also doenst spin freely could also point to the brakes/discs - will save you having to change wheels - if this doesnt work then at least you can swap tires after

    ** UPDATE **

Didn't have a trolley jack today so done my best with the little scissor jack

No play in wheels up or down either side but when i spin wheel (as best as i can )
there is a grinding noise that come's and goes as you spin it sounds like its coming from callipers or there about.Checked tyres and if you run hands up them there are ridges on the edge that catch but in centre it doesn't.

Now the noise is on both side's so i assume its not a wheel bearing coz my noise gets louder as i slow down plus if it was a wheel bearing when i spin the wheel wouldn't it be there for a full turn, plus no play up or down.

I did wash car and jet wash wheels just before the big freeze and it didn't move for a a day and a half after it.So im a bit lost as noise is louder as i slow down

Just a quickie should there be any play from front wheels in the 9 to 3 oclock position ? so if wheel is jacked up grab it on left and right and move it back and fourth
