    Default Z32se Pre cat

Has anyone here removed the pre cats, any problems after etc.
Has anyone removed their pre cat on any vectra c engine with any probs.
Realy want to get rid of them tbh, only concern is if i'm goung to be left in limp mode.

I have seen people remove the centre cat but not the pre cats. You will need to leave a cat in somewhere or it will fail the MOT on emmissions.

What Big Sig said - leave the precats but by all means remove the centre cat on the exhaust.

Don't mess with the pre-cats or you'll have all sorts of problems. When another member used to be on here, GSi3.2, he knew all there was to know about the 3.2 V6, and he said don't touch the precats.

Removing the main centre cat (I've done mine) gives IMO, more flexibilty and makes the car more "driveable" low down if this makes sense.

The o2 sensors are before and after the pre cats so that whole set up needs to stay stock, but as said, feel free to remove the main cat. GSi3.2 (Mark) got his info from the actual engine designer of the Z32SE when he went over to the Irmscher factory.
