Default Lowering / springs advice please !!

    Hi all,

Right, so my fronts have snapped. No suprise lol and it drives like a bag of spanners so it needs sorting out.

One option, original springs or should I buy the Eibach lowering 15mm spring set ?

    1) I want to retain comfort, will it effect this too much ?
    2) Will it effect my warranty, as ive got a lot left lol ?
    3) Does 15mm really make a difference ? I know it looks good
but, sometimes the places I go, I have no choice but to
scrape the lower rubber on the bumper lol !! (Its an SRi)

    Thanks !!!!

The eibachs aren't noticably harder than standard but you will feel the difference in the corners.

The 15mm seems to make the SRI sit just right. I have an irmy splitter and although its close sometimes I haven't found a speed bump it won't go over

As for warrenty your shocks won't likely be covered as the eibachs could be named responsible to save warrenty company paying out. Anything else should be ok though

Don't forget, the Eibachs lower 15mm from standard, SRi is already 10mm lower than standard so you will only see a drop of about 5mm.

Dampers are only covered for 3 months from new anyway.

Wkd, thanks all. Guess the eibachs will be the best option them.

Just to make sure, will the car drop 15 or 5mm?

Also, it wont sort of void the whole cars warranty will it ?

Just out of curiosity, anyone know the price of a VX spring ?
