Heater stopped working on my Vecra 52reg

Hiya.. need some help with my 52reg Vectra.. had the common problem with wet passenger floor well early in Dec, was stuck in traffic on boxing day and some half asleep driver rolled into the back on me (near side "drivers side"), impact was less the 5mph.
Got out the check and when I got back inside the car I noticed that the heater had stopped working on all the settings including the demister.
I have checked all the fuses and removed and replaced the thermal fuse as discussed in other threads on the resistor and still no luck.
also cleaned out blocked drain behind the pollen filter and checked that the fan moved freely.

Have also checked behind the bumper to see if the wireing loom runs there but there is nothing, so can't see how a small 5 mph impact would stop the heater fan working..

Now thinking it may be a relay, also read somewhere that the it maybe worth resetting the ECU as that can lock out the heater.

Has anyone else had simular problems or can shed any light on this..

The only thing similar I had was that I didn't connect the plug properly on the back of the Heater panel when I disconnect it. It vibrated itself loose while driving and the whole heater speed settings went dead.
