Default Both Rear Inside Pads gone

100,000 mile service today. Apparently both inside rear pads have worn through (oops... ). Now this is only it's 2nd set of pads so not terribly upset.

However I suspect it's down to the calipers sticking a bit. I have all the mechanical ability of a Trout on acid. So although the garage are greasing up carriers and such like. Is it likely to come back soon?

If so are new calipers the only real long term resolution? And what's it going to cost me. (Because I might just trade it rather than fix it depending on costs)

Or does it sound very odd it's both inside rears and I should be looking elsewhere for a problem/fix...

    Cheers!

Also the caliper is sliding type, the inner pad will always wear quicker,it makes contact first with the disc then the outer is pulled onto the disc, that's why looking through the wheel to check the pads doesn't work out !.

Excellent news. I suspected it was the standard having read some other posts.

Full Service, Pollen Filter, Rear Disks and Pads. All for less than £350, at a garage 400yds from the house.

Somedays the reasons behind choosing the Vectra over more exotic cars are quite clear.
