    Default Be careful guys.......

Just planted the Vec into a fence, only doing about 5mph! dunno who it belongs to and couldn't see much in the way of land boundaries, pretty loud so im sure someone saw it, I just hope the snow clears so I can go over there before some muppet calls the Police..... it's not as if it'd cost a lot to fix, I just don't have a clue who's it is when everything is covered in snow.

No real damage, a golf ball size patch of paint removed, bumper had to be popped back in line with the front wing and the foglight blanking plate needed refitting.

No grip out there right now

Had a scary moment my self. tried getting up my hill which was clear but only half way... had to turn round before the top, but as no cars where going down the snow was bad. was snaking all over even less then 5mph, thought the alloys where in for a kurbing a few times...

I wrote my rover 75 off a few weeks ago I only had it 3 days! apparently they don't like going round corners in wet/leafy conditions when travelling at 25mph

Its not good out there by the looks although so far all is fine & little snow, ice etc.
what i would do mate is take pics of the damage you have done to the fence mate.
If the thrid party decides to claim, you find a bill for a whole length of fence ie, they'll claim you took it all out.

Sorry to hear about that mate - pain in the bottom when it's a crummy slow collision and it still does the damage!!

Was late for work this morning cos i had to help a neighbour dig his focus out of the snow on my street score: Vec 1-0 Focus

I have said the same myself, too wide & too low profile a tyre, had to abandon (only 100yds away from my house lol) mine last night, could not get up a slight incline into my street...found out this morning a saab & alfa also failed (we all ended up "parking" next to each other!) but I saw a micra go up easy, oh the shame of it!
