daft question???

as you know i just bought an auto box vectra, i remember on an old auto i had an old ford granada you could check the box fluid level with a seperate dip stick.
i have looked under the bonnet for one on the vectra??
i may be thick but didnt find one so does this mean you cant check fluid level this way on these???

yeah low down at the front of the box is a green dipstick you will need a 12mm socket to undo the bolt always check the level after a run while oil is hot engine running and box in P
