I find that a bit sad. My last car was a MG ZT and it was a fantastic car that was utterly reliable. Only sold it because I needed a hatch.
I`ll stick up for them as well, my last car was one as well, every warranty claim I had was no problem, I was quite taken back when I took in the veccie and had to fight for them to fix their mistakes. When I was at vardys with the MG for a routine service I remarked to the mechanic that the drivers seat was a bit hard on my shoulder where it was a bit worn," looks a bit hard to me i`ll get you a new one" well the b pillar is peeling a bit as well I said, "take it in next week and we will spray them for you" ! can`t say I have had that kind of service from vauxhall ....
I bought a brand new Rover 820si tax free whilst I was stationed in Germany in the RAF, and it was a bag of bollo***.
Mind you I did sell it on after 6 months for a profit. Benefits of buying tax free I suppose.
If rumour has it - the chinese company have bought the rights to keep building the MG cars, so they're not dead completely.
Let's hope they continue to build this -
