Default Whats your thoughts on these Halfords Tools?

I have just reserved a set each of the below, but wanted to know your thoughts before I go and give away my hard earned £££'s!

    Link 1: Halfords 30 piece Socket Set @ £11.49 (allegedly was £23.99).

Link 2: Halfords Professional 36 piece Socket Set 1/4" Drive @ £14.99 (allegedly was £34.99).

If you have bought these or would like to offer some information about these as to how good or bad they are, I would be very grateful.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Thanks.

    Bye bye Vec B

1/4 drive is ideal for interior fittings on cars , as limited space is always an issue. Also handy to have about the house ..... especially on christmas day when you need to builds bikes , toys etc But not for most things on the outside like suspension , brake or engine work wouldnt be any good like macdad said

I already have 1 and half decent socket sets at home with the bigger fitments, i.e. 1/2 inch, etc. I was looking at these as backups and maybe one to keep in the boot of each car as they have a great case too and this it ALWAYS a problem! I have reserved both sets, worth a punt me thinks! Even the crappy ebay one's are minimum £10.00 each plus the P+P!
