Compression of a Z22SE should be between 12 and 15 bar with a compression ratio of 10.0:1 so yours does seem a bit low!!
I have read however that unless you do a compression test on these engines without being connected to vaux diagnostic equipment or similar you wont get a true reading as the throttle valve is electronically controlled and needs to be controlled by the vaux equipment.

ok then so just dont worrie hahaha am sure its fine got timimng chain to do soon so on with that
hopfully wont to be bad
Pop into the 2.2 site, z22se.co.uk. They'll be able to tell you real world figures mate. If your compression is pretty much the same across the 4 bore's then you'll be fine. If a drop of oil in the cylinder raises the compression then the rings might need looking at.
I see your already on there
just lol
