    Default Tyre recomendations (235/45/19)

Well had my VXR for six months and checked the tyres and was somewhat shocked and a little gutted to see they are nearly down to the wear indicators already!

Probably been asked before but before I go and stick two new conti's on what tyres do people recommend? Are there any secret little 'gems' out there for money and performance? I'd obviously like cheaper then the conti's but don't want Yugoslavian no grip super slider tyres either!

    Input would be greatly appreciated.

I've currently got kumho's on mine which are ok but no more than that, had a set of P Zero Nero's on my last signum and they were fantastic. Quiet and very very grippy, what the life span would have been i'm not so sure as i didnt keep it long enough to find out but i was very impressed with those tyres.

i've got pirelli p zero rosso's on at the moment - no grip for love nor money in the current conditions grippy in the dry and "normal" wet- Pirelli's own website recommend changing there rosso's and nero's to winter tyres below 7c as they loose grip/adhesion in ice and snow/slush

and i can vouch for that might as well have halibuts strapped to my rims

I fitted some Nokian tyres to a Honda Accord i had a few years back, and they stuck to the road like glue.

Its a little known brand (Scandinavian i think), but they do get fab reviews and ratings.
