    Default Another 'Which tyres?' Thread

    Hi All

My car is due a full set of tyres this year and was wondering which brand is best, I did put 2 Nexens on the front last year as a stop gap, but as I now need 4 tyres I'm hoping to get a deal from somewhere if possible.

So which is best: Falken FK452, ZE912, Goodyear F1 GSD3, Eagle F1 Asymmetric, Toyo T1R Proxes, Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta or Other (open to suggestions)?

Also, where is best to buy from: local tyre place, online and get fitted somewhere or Other (again open to suggestions)?

    Thanks in advance

Don't want budget tyres again really as I hate wheel spinning all the time, hoping to get all 4 fitted for less than £300, or is that a bit optomistic? But, hoping to get a deal as I need all 4!

Should have also said I'm looking at 225/45/R17 as opposed to the 215/55/R17 as they are cheaper and more variety.

Yes normally, ask the indy tyre suppliers forst, if in doubt give them a ring as they might price match

Im running the Falken Ziex in 225/45/17 and I find them very good, quiet, good roadholding and grippy in the snow unlike the Goodyear F1GSD3's I had that were a waste of space in the snow. I paid £308 for all 4 fitted

I'm in the same boat. Looking to replace all 4 next week.

I've been looking around and a few fitters have 25% off when you buy 4.

I would be interested to see what other people have done, I'm sticking to the 215 50 17.
