GID has lots of information several lines, and depending on model can have information for Climate control. It has the computer information, Fuel Range, consumption etc.

TID just basically shows time/date temperature and basic radio information. Three lines of text hence TID (Triple Info Display).

TID stands for Triple Info Display, and displays the outside temp, time and Radio station etc. A GID is a graphic info display, and displays the above as well as warnings such as low fuel, low windscreen wash etc. It also displays trip information such as average speed, average consumption and range etc. The Gid is also a larger display than the Tid. Hope this helps
