no traction control light?

as about i dont see one when my car starts up i get a wheel with an ! mark the glow plugs and a car with a spanner. get the engine light and all the little red ones but no traction control light should i have one??

ps all lights go out when car is started

But it only come as a option on the facelift as ESP+

Electronic Stability Programme-plus (ESP-plus)
D1. ESP-plus provides enhanced yaw compensation during
understeer or oversteer. The system works by monitoring the
front and rear of the car, comparing their respective directions
of travel going in to the bend with the input received through the
steering wheel. If the vehicle starts to slide, it applies corrective
braking to the appropriate wheel, or wheels, compensating for
the slide and helping you regain control more rapidly.
ESP-plus offers additional safety in the form of 2-way traction control,
which prevents the driving wheels from spinning, under acceleration,
on slippery surfaces.

arrr right im guessing its not fitted them hench all the wheel spinning when its wet.

have tc on mine facelift 150 sri. seen a lot of the icon lately with all the snow.

TC was taken off the spec in early 06, only fitted to cars with ESP. Glad it was fitted to mine as it was the only thing that got me up a Welsh Mountain road over Christmas.

got 06 facelift 150 SRI and it's not fitted to mine. Never needed it tho tbh, even in the snow. Don't think it helps much in the snow anyways.

mine is also 06 150 sri facelift so how come i have tc does that mean i also have esp. and your right doesn't help much in the snow.

Mine gets turned off as soon as hit any snowy hills. The TC just kills the cars momentum.

It wont work on yours mate, only some pre facelift.
