trouble starting then car and spanner!

afternoon all, got in the car this morning(-3 outside) turned engine over and only just started, then when it was running the dreaded ca and spanner light came up, drove to my dads and charged it up, off the car, and now warning has gone, i assume it was due to low power in the battery that tripped it, question is is it likely to reappear? does it store it as a fault? by the way battery is a gm and is 18 months old.thanks in advance.

Could also be that one or more of the glow plugs is on its last legs

yea i get this ive ordered some NGK plugs off ebay, what ive been told is when starting from cold 1 or more plugs aint warming up as good was they should that why i only get the spanner for about 20 seconds (depends on how cold it is outside) but goes out after driving, you shouldnt see it come on again when the cars warmed up

i am avin trouble starting and i get the car and large spanner for about 20 seconds ,does this mean i need glowplugs doing? are they an easy diy job or should i book it in to dealers...also how much are glow plugs is it 4 u need seee n on ebay 33pounds

to be honest mate theres another member on here whos having same troublehe has found out it aint the glowplugs its the control module, but im gonna try the plugs on mine first, there the same ones im gonna get off ebay, the NGK ones
