    Default Parcel Delivery

    Hi

    Recently came across this, thought it may be of use to some of you guys in the UK.

    collectmyparcel.com - Parcel Delivery that use DHL etc for only £8.75 anywhere in the UK, bought myself a Header Unit off eBay and the guy only offered a Pick Up only thing. When I searched Google I found this site who arrange DHL to collect and deliver etc, and it has on-line tracking and insurance for £50.

    Just thought some of you may find it useful for any large items etc you may buy off eBay etc.

    also parcel2go.com similar sort of company I guess who source the cheapest courier..can pay by paypal too, not just card... use them all the time when selling stuff on ebay...cheapest at the mo is with home delivery network for around £7.20 inc vat

    No no, £8.75 for the parcel collection and delivery. It comes with £50 worth of insurance :-)

    £50 worth of insurance, that isn't worth £50
    The chances of DHL not delivering, damaging, or losing the parcel is higher than with Royal Mail!

    I do agree though, £9 for collection of a parcel appears good value for money, but it's really no different that Royal Mail Recorded delivery
    I would be looking for "consequential loss insurance" (comparable to Royal Mail Special Delivery) and DHL charge vastly more for that

    you can buy extra insurance on top of your parcel with parcel2go
