Rattling Tailgate

My car has started to suffer quite badley from this problem, and its getting worse. After taking it in to my local dealer who said it is ok! I got the wife to drive the car while I listened in the boot. The noise is coming from the door lock area, so a trip back to VX is on the cards. Anyway I am sure that I have seen this fault mentioned on the common faults page, but I cant find it anwhere. Can anybody help me? If i could find it, I could print it off and show it to my dealer.

no offical field remedy yet though, just other members expereince of the fault

Thanks mate,I was hoping that there was a field remedy for it. Ah well,back to Vx I go!

Vx re-aligned my boot catch and it cured the problem. Your dealer doesn't want to do the work because he doesn't get any money from Vx for warranty work if he doesn't use any parts.

That's who sorted mine out mate. My best mate is the Business Manager there. His name is Gordon Stuttard. Mention my name with his if they try and fob you off, but they sorted me out no problem mate.
