Default How to get the front bumper off...

Hi, I know there are loads of threads, but I'm part way through taking my front bumper off my facelift vec to install some HIDs and it won't come off, even though all the screws have been removed - been following this how 2: http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19366

Do I just need to pull hard, and if so where is the best place to start without causing damage?

Its ****** cold out there so a quick response would be appreciated - apologies to the powers at be but I can't find anything through searching, although my fingers and toes are blue!

and yes if you HAVE removed all 12 screws a good tug from either wheel arch will do it.

5 screws out from each wheel arch - can't see any more. then the four from across the top.

I only want to get the headlights out so only want to get it off enough to take these out.

2 headlight bolts taken out and they feel very wobbly - are there any more as they move all over the place, but won't come out!

Right, passenger side off popped off quite easily. drivers side won't budge and I can't see from either side where any more bolts would be.

Just won't move.... Time to be brave?!

if you are working on a vectra c there are two plastic rivet type plugs that need to be pulled out aswell, these are at the front just inside where the bonnet slam is as well as all the small torque screws either side 4 on the wheel arches and about 5 either side along the front under side edge and the four big plastic rivetts in the middle under the front. the head lights have three bolts two above the bumper and one below the bumper, the bumper does need to be removed to get the bottom one out. vectra d or new shape with the bigger lights say 06 reg on, is alittle bit easier to remove front bumper. the four plastic rivets come out by pulling the middle bit out then the rest of the rivet comes out easey. the same as the top two rivetsthey just look different the bumper just pulls off then at the top edge then diconnect the wirng to out side temp unit and fog lights if you have them........
