Default what are the important differences between elite and design??

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

the price is fairly good for what looks like a good spec design (150)

its an early one on 55 with 76000 on the clock and its proving difficult to find a decent low mile elite in my budget so what are the differences?

i reckon i can get that down to 5400 tho

design will be half leather sports seats sports suspension (lower than elite) and exposed tail pipe with a metallic interior dash and door trim - elite will be full leather (soft not sports) soft suspension hidden tail pipes and a wooden finish on the door trims and dash

Designs do not have sports suspension and the tail pipe is not on show

Signum Design and Vectra Design are not related int he slightlest - Signum Design is the sports varient, and the Vectra Design is just a lower trim level than Elite...

I've an 06 reg Elite and haven't got wood effect trim on the dash and doors. My previous 53 reg Elegance had the fake wood though.

Just a reminder that Deztroyer and the original poster (mattmk6) are talking about Signums and not Vectras, the specs for designs and elites are different across these 2 cars

The signum is a great car, not a lot of difference between the two, heated leather in the Elites but its hardly leather anyway, the designs get tinted rear windows too The elites don't.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
