    Default Thinking of de-chroming...

    I think a little chrome can make a car look nice, but think it does tend to look tacky. I already have a colour-coded v-grill, but al thinking of having the chrome around the grill, the chrome along the windows and the boot strip sprayed some sort of gun-metal grey, that would kind of match the wheels. What do you guys think?

    Heres my car;

    replace the chrome with lower spec rubber round the windows. prob cost less then spraying and spray the boot chrome body couloured...

    Think any other colour will just stand out as much... personally i think the chrome helps break up such a big cars lines...

    a cracking offer from redraptor_141 very nice indeed
    the other option to spraying is exterior grade vinyl which is cheap(and lasts for 7 years) and if you dont like the colour you can change relatively easily

    did my window trims to match the wheels along with the fog light covers

    0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

    Thats a very kind offer thanks, but I was thinking an accent colour was nice, not just the black. I agree the black needs breaking up and was thinking along the lines of deztroyers car but with a more 'gentle' colour!! I though gunmetal grey because my brother has a gunmetal grey vxr defuser on his corsa and it looks brillent....
