I had the front of my car resprayed during the summer; front bumper, bonnet, both wings
    £230

You would need to apply such a film to the front bumper and the bonnet, so you are probably looking at between six and eight sheets
You will need to be very precise at cutting and wrapping!

    http://www.invisiblepatterns.co.uk/installation.html
Before installing our patterns please consult our more detailed written instructions included with all our paint protection patterns
Because of the large areas and curves on cars we advise you to get Full and Standard Kits fitted by us, this will also ensure you benefit from the lifetime warranty we provide with our patterns

Their headlight kit (specific to Vectra C) is £45.00
From memory I got a quote from them for the front bumper protection and it was near on £500, but this did include me taking the car to them for fitting (estimated at two hours)

Yes, that would have been the case with mine!
I was looking at the full kit, but the bonnet is only the lower edge
I managed to get a stonechip about 40mm long half way up the bonnet, that would not have been covered by the kit!

I'm never to bothered about stonechips on the plastic bumper itself, i't going to take a hammering year to year
I am more concerned about the bonnet, modern paint is just not as durable now
If it means getting the front resprayed every three or four years, then so be it

Putting vinyl over bends and curves is a pain the arse. I have done quite a few wraps for vans and the likes and it does your head in. Always try and get them onto panels only, so much easier but still a pain sometimes. Especially as when you touch any panel of those new fiat/citroen vans they just flex its crazy!
