    Default Them flippy keys again

If this has been mentioned on any previous thread on the subject, then please accept my apols. Anyway, I went into my dealer today to order a flippy key and apparently that is all they do now, so whether you want one or not, if you need a new key, you're getting a flippy Plus the backlog is over now and everything is back to normal, so it should be here tomorrow

I'd prefer then to make a slide key myself, one you push the blade out from one end to the other, it'd be more robust imo.

yes Ian, the problem with the keys was resolved a few weeks back, but I only became aware of that when they told me LOL. All in all (buying it, getting it Tech 2'd etc) is about £60.00 IIRC, but I ain't paying that

I've never understood what it is that you find 'flimsy' about them VV - as per your other posts. Once mine locks into place it's nice and solid and is just like a normal key.

Got a brand new 1.9cdti LS lease car delivered to work yesterday so had chance to see the flippys up close. Faaaar better than the conventional key, and I hav e to say VV, not in the slightest flimsy, quite a hefty lump actually. Worth the upgrade IMO
