Default new member looking at a signum

    hi everyone, im new here.

currently own a 2006 astra design estate but disapointed with the car (crappy display, no armrest, no drinks holder, poor mpg and awful road noise)

anyway im looking at a cheap 3.0ltr cdti elite with 90k and full history for 4.5k but its an 03 so not many toys.

any thoughts on the car and which is best? if i change cars i want all the toys so its gonna be an elite. i have 2 kids but dont do much mileage as i have a van for work so it would be nice to have the travel pack in the back

Welcome buddy, you'll find that most early spec Vectras/Signums are actually better equiped than newer ones

but it was dark and couldnt get a proper look

looks like a fairly good spec with full leather but no nav and older style radio

Seems ok although a tad pricey for the miles on it, clean car though

Sat Nav was optional until about 2005, other than this the Elite has everything. The only major thing the Elite lost in later years was the Electric Seats.

I wonder if you could fit them from an older model - was the memory in the seats themselves or was it ECU controlled...? If not, would it simply need a 12V supply...?

Thats expensive. I know of a 3.0 cdti Design with 67k that went for less than 3k. Go to an auction and save £££££££'s
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

All Vectra's lost them due to safety reasons. But the modified parts are now available.
