Imagine the scence,
Tuesday morning, about 7.40am. Driving in the countryside on the A588 just through hambleton, the sun is already up and there is a heat haze on the horizon. I am driving to work in my Veccy C, feeling quite pleased with myself as I just polished and valeted it the prior evening and removed all the scratches from the rear bumper. The sun is reflecting of the bonnet. I have to stop behind a van wanting to turn off and another white van pulls up behind me. No major worries there. We wait for a couple of minutes as the traffic is quite heavy. A coach is heading towards me on the other side of the road, nothing unusual, still no worries.
BUT THEN it went wrong....
I heard the screeching of brakes and as the bus went past me the driver hit the horn, more screeching and i see the coach leave the road, only to see it ploughed into by a red rover 25, but the rover didnt stop there, in my mirror the car got larger and closer until it finally came to rest, right in the rear drivers side of my poilshed, scratch free vectra.
He hit me so hard that i had to drive my car off his, they were tangled so mush that I had to push the loud peddle right to the floor and smoke the tyres just so i could move my no scratched veccy c of his little crappy red 25.
The fun didnt stop there. As soon as I got out my car, i smelt petrol and saw steam coming out of the now deceased rover 25's bonnet (what was left of it) and the chav that was driving it got out and...........
LIT A CIGARETTE!!!!
Not content with destroying his car, the side of a coach and my car he also wanted to kill us in a fireball.
To cut this long story short, I ended up in hospital with a badly bruised arm and a nasty painful bout of whiplash. The police were great and so fast but they didnt manage to recover the rover drivers (a young boy racers) inserance details.
