Default Tacky or not... Painting Shocks.

I have a hell of a lot of hammerite paint lying about, yellows blues reds etc i've aquired over time...

Should be having the suspension off in a few week to lower it, going to paint calipers too while at it... thinking maybe a lick of yellow on the standard shocks?!?!

Also car is in Avatar left, thinkin Blue calipers? any other opinions?

Oh yeah, of course... just dont know wether the blue calipers, red springs and yellow shocks will look a bit busy and tacky under the snowflakes...

Think my old one is the same colour, Calipers were painted by the previous owner and I hated them.

Hence I never cleaned them, Personally I would do the calipers black or silver.

I think you shold go for a technicolour look, much like josephs dream coat

Id definately paint the calipers and shocks would look good too. Will give you something to do

Edit: Calipers actually look pretty good in the red imo

    Ive changed my mind again....

You should do one side red and one side blue, then see if anyone would actually notice the difference!

Good idea, but the paint will flake off due to the stresses the shocks go through, in my opinion I would leave them as after a while parts will flake off and it will look 'orrible

Only springs should flake... shocks under spring holder should be perfectly fine with wear and tear...

Was a nice motor P3tchy, but think red would be too much. had that on black astra, to sproty IMO. only suits dark cars...
