    Default More CDTI 150 woes!

    Hey chaps,

Another one for you with regards to the CDTI 150.

Basically, it stinks, not inside but outside. Yesterday we left it running to warm it up as it was freezing, and when I got back outside, there was a VERY VERY strong smell from it, almost like when you are behind a motor giving it some boot and you can smell the CAT. But this was more Diesel fumes!

Now I know I have a suspected EGR fault which I am doing on a WIP, but what on earth could be generating such torrid fumes?

Ocassionally you can smell it inside when the cars moving, but that was only one complaint once?

    Anyone?

Wobbling on idle could be your DMF, any rattling when you have bring your clutch up slowly?
