    Default car in the stealers

sorry if this is in the wrong section as im new to here and thought this is the place to ask,
my car is booked in to approach andover tommorow for a diagnostic as my traction control and steering wheel with a ! is on also my indicators sometime dont self cancel, after reading about this on here (cheers guys) i believe its going to be the CIM the question is how much should i expect them to charge me to fix it.

also i tried to open the bonnet today and the handle came away in my hand followed by a good few inches of cable should i get them to fix that while its there and if so again how much should i expect to pay,
i have a mate who works in a garage who could fix the bonnet release so that could be cheaper, but i believe the CIM needs to be tech 2 so stealers only,

    any advice appriciated

well my cim needs doing and it was 335 all in, but the place i got it from is paying for the part as the warrenty didnt cover the CIM and im in the trade so ill have to pay 107 so not too bad, if its the cim then the indicators wont self cancel when the lights are on and the cruise will sometimes dicide not to work! HTH

Well I got the car back. £277 all in for a new cim so I booked it for next week. They wanted £125 to open the bonnet and £220 if they had replace the cable so I will try have a look at that myself first they said they would have to break the grill so I will do that and see if I can get in then get my local garage to just fit a new cable must be cheaper that way.
