    Default All new Vauxhall Vctra

Picked my car up from my sisters this morning only to find that the Vectra badge had literally come un-stuck from the back of the car, only letter missing was the "e" of which i imagine has been mangled on some road somewhere.

Doesnt look like someones tried to take the badge, simply that the letters are no longer sticky enough to be held on, guess it could be to do with the cold snap. Odd thing is the letters/numbers on the otherside are fine.

Has anyone had this happen to them? and also can the badge be replaced easy enough?

    Cheers

    Matt

Must admit was a bit disappointed, if i'd done it with a jet wash then fair enough

Never had this happen on a car before, has me questionning the "vauxhall build quality". I mean if a badge can just fall off after a bit of cold weather what else is likely to follow!!!

ye it has been real cold and damp down here recently, perhaps i should just leave it off, just checked on the bay and they seem cheap enough to replace, would just need to get the measurements.

Questioning Vauxhall build quality is a bit over the top. Of all the Vauxhall cars I have owned, I have never had a badge fall off.

How do you know the badges were not replaced at some point in the past and they were stuck to a surface that was not totally clean.

Maverick, ye was probably a little ott, had a few vauxhalls and would agree that theyve been damn good to me. Was just a bit miffed that they fell off, jet washed the car in the past and they stayedon. Could be right that the badges had been replaced, funny thing is ive struggled to get badges off cars in the past. Thinking either complete debage or an irmscher badge?
