Default HELP! AirBox Mod Gone Wrong!

i done the airbox mod today, but had a blonde moment, and cut off the piece of plastic that goes through the upper lid of the airbox. can anyone tell me if this is going to damage the car or not? should i buy a new upper lid for the airbox, or just leave it? any help much appreciated. ta.

so have you go a hole in the top of the air box ?
is so stick some tape on the inner and outer edge or seal with plastic putty if you experience any problems - might bring on a maf sensor fault of too much air comes into the car

on the underside of the top lid to the airbox, there is a 3inch tube, i've given that the chop. i haven't got any holes in the lid. im just scared that the car will be too much air flow for the car. and being a DuelFuel, i don't wanna f*** it up lol.

think the mod wont do any harm, but remeber reading a post on this site regarding the trumpet that you have cut , removing the bottom one is good but the trumpet you have cut although wont cause any damage If memory serves me right will affect torque in a negative way as in reducing it.
